To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Nursing program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Miami the most popular school in Florida for nursing students working on their graduate certificate. U Miami is a large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Coral Gables.

Of the 24 students majoring in nursing at U Miami, 29% are male and 71% are female.

The average amount in student loans that nursing majors at U Miami take out while working on their Graduate Certificate is $26,723.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at University of Central Florida helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in Florida. UCF is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Orlando.

Of the 22 students majoring in nursing at UCF, 9% are male and 91% are female.

Out of the 15 schools in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, Florida Atlantic University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the city of Boca Raton, FAU is a public school with a very large student population.
