To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue a degree in the Southeast Region . Located in the city of Atlanta, Georgia Tech is a public college with a fairly large student population.

While working on their degree, engineering majors at Georgia Tech accumulate an average of around $25,881 in student debt. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $445.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend North Carolina State University. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Engineering Schools in the Southeast Region list. NC State is a very large public school located in the city of Raleigh.
