This report analyzed 14 schools in the New England Region to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Worcester Polytechnic Institute to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the New England Region . Located in the medium-sized city of Worcester, WPI is a private not-for-profit college with a moderately-sized student population.

Women make up 27% of the engineering majors at the school.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at University of Connecticut helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering schools in the New England Region . UCONN is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Storrs.

About 16% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 84% are male.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Massachusetts - Lowell. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Engineering Graduate Certificate Schools in the New England Region list. UMass Lowell is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Lowell.

About 30% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 70% are male.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at University of New Hampshire - Main Campus helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering schools in the New England Region . Located in the suburb of Durham, UNH is a public college with a fairly large student population.
