To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Other Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Virginia - Main Campus to be the most popular school for other engineering students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Southeast Region . Located in the small suburb of Charlottesville, University of Virginia is a public college with a very large student population.

About 20% of the students majoring in other engineering at the school are women while 80% are male.

Out of the 11 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Tennessee - Knoxville landed the # 2 spot on the list. UT Knoxville is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Knoxville.

About 56% of the students majoring in other engineering at the school are women while 44% are male.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means North Carolina A & T State University is a great place for other engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. NC A&T is a large public school located in the city of Greensboro.

Located in the medium-sized city of Richmond, VCU is a public college with a fairly large student population.
