Our 2023 rankings named Cornell University the most popular school in the United States for operations research students working on their bachelor’s degree. Cornell is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Ithaca.

Out of the 14 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, University of California - Berkeley landed the # 2 spot on the list. UC Berkeley is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Berkeley.

Of the 76 students majoring in operations research at UC Berkeley, 62% are male and 38% are female.
