The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at North Carolina State University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular industrial engineering schools in the Southeast Region . NC State is a very large public school located in the large city of Raleigh.

About 12% of the students majoring in IE at the school are women while 88% are male.
