This report analyzed 16 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Environmental Engineering program at each school on the list.

Gainesville, FL

Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for environmental engineering students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the Southeast Region . Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 39 students majoring in environmental engineering at UF, 26% are male and 74% are female.

Out of the 16 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus landed the # 2 spot on the list. Georgia Tech is a fairly large public school located in the city of Atlanta.

Of the 23 students majoring in environmental engineering at Georgia Tech, 52% are male and 48% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Clemson University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Environmental Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in the suburb of Clemson, Clemson is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 19 students majoring in environmental engineering at Clemson, 53% are male and 47% are female.
