Our analysis found Purdue University - Main Campus to be the most popular school for electrical engineering students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Great Lakes Region . Located in the small city of West Lafayette, Purdue is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 20% of the students majoring in EE at the school are women while 80% are male.

Out of the 26 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the small city of Champaign, UIUC is a public college with a very large student population.
