Our 2023 rankings named Purdue University - Main Campus the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for civil engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Purdue is a fairly large public school located in the city of West Lafayette.

Of the 38 students majoring in civil eng at Purdue, 66% are male and 34% are female.

Out of the 20 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign landed the # 2 spot on the list. UIUC is a fairly large public school located in the small city of Champaign.

Of the 32 students majoring in civil eng at UIUC, 72% are male and 28% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Notre Dame. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Civil Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. Notre Dame is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Notre Dame.
