Our 2023 rankings named University of California - Berkeley the most popular school in California for electrical engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. UC Berkeley is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Berkeley.

About 20% of the students majoring in EE at the school are women while 80% are male.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, EE majors at UC Berkeley accumulate an average of around $13,851 in student debt. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $348, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of California - San Diego is a great place for electrical engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large city of La Jolla, UCSD is a public school with a very large student population.

About 10% of the students majoring in EE at the school are women while 90% are male.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, EE majors at UCSD accumulate an average of around $19,904 in student debt.

It came in at #6 on the list. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is a fairly large public school located in the small suburb of San Luis Obispo.

Women make up 18% of the EE majors at the school.

Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $454.
