Our analysis found Northeastern University to be the most popular school for civil engineering students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the New England Region . Northeastern is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.

Out of the 18 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Massachusetts - Lowell landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the suburb of Lowell, UMass Lowell is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 36 students majoring in civil eng at UMass Lowell, 69% are male and 31% are female.

West Haven, CT

University of Massachusetts Amherst ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Civil Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. Located in the large suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 35% of the students majoring in civil eng at the school are women while 65% are male.
