To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Education program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Western Governors University the most popular school in the Rocky Mountains Region for education students. Located in the suburb of Salt Lake City, WGU is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population.

Out of the 87 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Northern Colorado landed the # 2 spot on the list. University of Northern Colorado is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Greeley.
