Our 2023 rankings named Liberty University the most popular online school in Virginia for education students. Located in the city of Lynchburg, Liberty University is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population.
The average amount in student loans that education majors at Liberty University take out is $30,096.

The excellent online programs at Old Dominion University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best education schools in Virginia. Located in the medium-sized city of Norfolk, Old Dominion is a public school with a very large student population.
