In 2020-2021, 219 degrees and certificates were awarded to general education students who went to a New Mexico college or university. This makes it the #20 most popular major in the state.
It's not easy to decide which program to enroll in when you have so many options available. As online education oppotunities continue to grow, you're not restricted to just schools in your local area anymore. Even some of the 'big name' schools are offering online courses. This report analyzed 17 schools in New Mexico to see which ones were the most popular programs for students.
