Out of the 47 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Abilene Christian University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Abilene Christian is a small private not-for-profit school located in the midsize city of Abilene.

Out of the 47 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Houston landed the # 3 spot on the list. UH is a very large public school located in the large city of Houston.

Of the 66 students majoring in education admin at UH, 23% are male and 77% are female.

Beaumont, TX

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Lamar University is a great place for educational administration students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Beaumont, Lamar University is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Texas A&M University - Commerce ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Educational Administration Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region list. Texas A&M Commerce is a large public school located in the distant town of Commerce.
