To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Technology program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Maryland Global Campus to be the most popular school for information technology students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the suburb of Adelphi, UMGC is a public school with a very large student population.

About 35% of the students majoring in IT at the school are women while 65% are male.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at Sans Technology Institute helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular information technology schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Sans Technology Institute is a fairly small private for-profit school located in the large suburb of Bethesda.

Women make up 5% of the IT majors at the school.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means West Chester University of Pennsylvania is a great place for information technology students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the suburb of West Chester, WCUPA is a public college with a large student population.

Of the 55 students majoring in IT at WCUPA, 85% are male and 15% are female.

George Washington University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for information technology students to get a graduate certificate. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the city of Washington, GWU is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 39% of the IT majors at the school.

Buffalo, NY

University at Buffalo did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for information technology students to get a graduate certificate. It came in at #8 on the list. Located in the large suburb of Buffalo, University at Buffalo is a public school with a fairly large student population.
