To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Technology program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Anne Arundel Community College to be the most popular school for information technology students who want to pursue a associate degree in the Middle Atlantic Region . AACC is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Arnold.

Of the 95 students majoring in IT at AACC, 71% are male and 29% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Montgomery College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Information Technology Associate Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Montgomery College is a fairly large public school located in the city of Rockville.

Of the 94 students majoring in IT at Montgomery College, 72% are male and 28% are female.

The in-demand associate degree programs at Community College of Baltimore County helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular information technology schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the suburb of Baltimore, CCBC is a public college with a large student population.

Harrisburg Area Community College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for information technology students to get a associate degree. It came in at #6 on the list. HACC is a large public school located in the small city of Harrisburg.

Women make up 17% of the IT majors at the school.

While working on their Associate Degree, IT majors at HACC accumulate an average of around $16,988 in student debt.

Community College of Allegheny County landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree information technology programs. Located in the city of Pittsburgh, CCAC is a public school with a fairly large student population.
