Out of the 15 schools in Maryland that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Maryland - College Park landed the # 2 spot on the list. UMCP is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of College Park.

Of the 642 students majoring in IS at UMCP, 69% are male and 31% are female.

On average, IS graduates from UMCP take out $19,558 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $246.
