To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for IS majors pursuing an online graduate certificate.

Our 2023 rankings named University of North Texas the most popular online school in the United States for information science students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the midsize city of Denton, UNT is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 68 students majoring in IS at UNT, 21% are male and 79% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Maryland Global Campus. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Online Information Science Graduate Certificate Schools list. Located in the large suburb of Adelphi, UMGC is a public college with a very large student population.
