Our analysis found University of Maryland Global Campus to be the most popular school for information science students who want to pursue an online degree in the United States. Located in the large suburb of Adelphi, UMGC is a public school with a fairly large student population.
While working on their degree, IS majors at UMGC accumulate an average of around $22,507 in student debt.

The excellent online programs at Georgia Southern University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best information science schools in the United States. Located in the town of Statesboro, GaSou is a public college with a fairly large student population.
