Out of the 49 schools in the Far Western US Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of California - Irvine landed the # 4 spot on the list. Located in the large city of Irvine, UC Irvine is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 164 students majoring in compsci at UC Irvine, 76% are male and 24% are female.
