Our 2023 rankings named University of Notre Dame the best school in the United States for accounting students. Notre Dame is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Notre Dame.

With a ranking of #18, University of Richmond did quite well on this year’s best schools for accounting students. Located in the medium-sized city of University of Richmond, URichmond is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor ranked #19 on this year’s Best Accounting Schools list. U-M is a very large public school located in the city of Ann Arbor.

University of Southern California ranked #20 on this year’s Best Accounting Schools list. Located in the city of Los Angeles, USC is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
On average, accounting graduates from USC take out $17,750 in student loans while working on their degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $292.
Illinois Wesleyan University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best schools for accounting students. It came in at #21 on the list. Located in the small city of Bloomington, Illinois Wesleyan is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.
