This report analyzed 11 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular doctor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Zoology program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Florida the most popular school in the Southeast Region for zoology students working on their doctor’s degree. UF is a fairly large public school located in the city of Gainesville.

About 44% of the students majoring in zoology at the school are women while 56% are male.
