Our 2023 rankings named Harvard University the most popular school in the New England Region for general biology students working on their doctor’s degree. Harvard is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Cambridge.

Of the 49 students majoring in biology at Harvard, 51% are male and 49% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular General Biology Doctor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. Located in the city of Worcester, UMass Medical School is a public college with a small student population.
