Out of the 12 schools in the Far Western US Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Southern California Institute of Architecture landed the # 2 spot on the list. SCI-Arc is a small private not-for-profit school located in the city of Los Angeles.

Of the 87 students majoring in architect science at SCI-Arc, 64% are male and 36% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at University of California - Los Angeles helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular architectural sciences and technology schools in the Far Western US Region . UCLA is a fairly large public school located in the city of Los Angeles.

Women make up 59% of the architect science majors at the school.
