Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for plant sciences students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the United States. Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 25 students majoring in plant sciences at UF, 60% are male and 40% are female.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at Texas A&M University - College Station helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular plant sciences schools in the United States. Texas A&M College Station is a fairly large public school located in the city of College Station.

About 30% of the students majoring in plant sciences at the school are women while 70% are male.
