This report analyzed 54 schools in Massachusetts to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

By the time they get their graduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $19,755 in student loans. Around 53% of those degree recipients were women.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Massachusetts - Lowell. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Graduate Certificate Schools in Massachusetts list. UMass Lowell is a public institution located in Lowell, Massachusetts. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 261 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

Located in Amherst, Massachusetts, the large public school awarded 157 diplomas to qualifed graduate certificate students in 2020-2021.

Boston University came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Graduate Certificate Schools in Massachusetts ranking. Boston, Massachusetts is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out graduate certificates to 86 students in 2020-2021.

University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth landed the #12 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular graduate certificate programs. This medium-sized public school is located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and it awarded 73 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

Graduate Certificate recipients from MCPHS University accumulate an average of $24,008 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 66% of those degree recipients were women.
