Our analysis looked at 31 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region to see which doctor's degree programs were the most popular for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Utah the most popular school in the Rocky Mountains Region for students working on their doctor’s degree. University of Utah is a large public school located in Salt Lake City, Utah that handed out 815 doctor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of those students who received their degree, 49% were women.

U of U does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. During the 2019-2020 year, about 68% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
