Our 2023 rankings named University of New Mexico - Main Campus the most popular school in New Mexico for students working on their bachelor’s degree. UNM is a public institution located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The school has a large population, and it awarded 4,294 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UNM is $7,906. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $25,243. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $22,079 in student loans. Around 61% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online classes at UNM. In 2019-2020 about 56% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means New Mexico State University - Main Campus is a great place for students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the fairly large public school handed out 2,425 bachelor’s degree awards in 2020-2021.
Full-time students from New Mexico pay an average of $7,301 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend NMSU Main Campus. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $23,767.
