Our analysis found Northwestern University to be the most popular school for music students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Illinois. Located in the city of Evanston, Northwestern is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 44% of the music majors at the school.

Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $431.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Columbia College Chicago helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular music schools in Illinois. Located in the large city of Chicago, Columbia is a private not-for-profit college with a medium-sized student population.

About 39% of the students majoring in music at the school are women while 61% are male.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, music graduates from Columbia carry an average student debt load of $26,748. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $541.
