The colleges and universities below are the most popular for design majors pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named Savannah College of Art and Design the most popular school in Georgia for design and applied arts students working on their bachelor’s degree. SCAD is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the midsize city of Savannah.

Of the 824 students majoring in design at SCAD, 27% are male and 73% are female.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, design majors at SCAD accumulate an average of around $26,596 in student debt. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $981, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

Out of the 15 schools in Georgia that were part of this year’s ranking, Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the city of Atlanta, Georgia Tech is a public college with a fairly large student population.

About 64% of the students majoring in design at the school are women while 36% are male.

On average, design graduates from Georgia Tech take out $22,206 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Georgia Southern University is a great place for design and applied arts students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the distant town of Statesboro, GaSou is a public college with a fairly large student population.
