Our 2023 rankings named Ohio State University - Main Campus the most popular school in Ohio for sociology students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large city of Columbus, Ohio State is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 70% of the sociology majors at the school.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, sociology graduates from Ohio State carry an average student debt load of $22,336. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $229, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

Out of the 44 schools in Ohio that were part of this year’s ranking, Ohio University - Athens Campus landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the distant town of Athens, OHIO Athens is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 76 students majoring in sociology at OHIO Athens, 28% are male and 72% are female.

When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $371.
