Our 2023 rankings named University of Wisconsin - Madison the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for economics students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large city of Madison, UW - Madison is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 624 students majoring in economics at UW - Madison, 67% are male and 33% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, economics graduates from UW - Madison carry an average student debt load of $19,744. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $202.
