This report analyzed 50 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The following schools top our list of the Most Popular Online Economics Colleges.

Our analysis found Utah State University to be the most popular school for economics students who want to pursue an online degree in the United States. USU is a fairly large public school located in the city of Logan.

Economics majors at USU take out an average of $13,450 in student loans while working on their egree.

Out of the 50 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Colorado State University - Fort Collins landed the # 2 spot on the list. Colorado State is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Fort Collins.

On average, economics graduates from Colorado State take out $24,000 in student loans while working on their degree. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $367.
