In our regional and nationwide rankings, out-of-state tution and fees are used in our calculations. For statewide rankings, we use average in-state tuition and fees.

Best Utah Schools for Affordable Quality in Economics

Our 2023 rankings named Brigham Young University - Provo the best value school in Utah for economics students. BYU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Provo.

The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at BYU are $6,120 a year. On average, economics graduates from BYU take out $14,500 in student loans while working on their degree.

BYU not only placed well in our value ranking, but it is also #2 on our Best Economics Schools in Utah list.
