To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Public Policy program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Chicago to be the most popular school for public policy students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the Great Lakes Region . UChicago is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Chicago.

Of the 259 students majoring in public policy at UChicago, 42% are male and 58% are female.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Michigan - Ann Arbor is a great place for public policy students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Ann Arbor, U-M is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 57% of the students majoring in public policy at the school are women while 43% are male.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at University of Wisconsin - Madison helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular public policy schools in the Great Lakes Region . Located in the large city of Madison, UW - Madison is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 29 students majoring in public policy at UW - Madison, 48% are male and 52% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at DePaul University helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular public policy schools in the Great Lakes Region .
