To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Maryland Global Campus the most popular online school in the Middle Atlantic Region for psychology students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the suburb of Adelphi, UMGC is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 576 students majoring in psychology at UMGC, 24% are male and 76% are female.

Out of the 14 online programs at schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Kean University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Kean is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Union.
