Top 10 Best General Psychology Bachelor's Degree Schools

Our 2023 rankings named Iowa State University the best value school in Iowa for general psychology students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the small city of Ames, Iowa State is a public college with a very large student population.

The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at Iowa State are $9,634 a year. After completing their Bachelor's Degree, psychology graduates from Iowa State carry an average student debtload of $23,394. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $180.

In addition to its best value ranking, and one of the reasons why the school is on the list, Iowa State is ranked #4 for overall quality for psychology in Iowa.
