Our 2023 rankings named University of Memphis the most popular school in Tennessee for chemistry students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the city of Memphis, UofM is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 36 students majoring in chemistry at UofM, 33% are male and 67% are female.

Chemistry majors at UofM take out an average of $21,695 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Out of the 33 schools in Tennessee that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Tennessee - Chattanooga landed the # 2 spot on the list. UT Chattanooga is a large public school located in the midsize city of Chattanooga.

Women make up 71% of the chemistry majors at the school.
