Our analysis found University of North Carolina at Greensboro to be the most popular school for parks, recreation, leisure, and fitness studies students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Southeast Region . UNC Greensboro is a large public school located in the large city of Greensboro.

Women make up 65% of the parks and rec majors at the school.

Out of the 22 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, United States Sports Academy landed the # 2 spot on the list. The Academy is a fairly small private not-for-profit school located in the city of Daphne.

Of the 15 students majoring in parks and rec at The Academy, 60% are male and 40% are female.
