Our analysis found California State University - Monterey Bay to be the best value school for marine science students who want to pursue a degree in the Far Western US Region . CSUMB is a moderately-sized public school located in the suburb of Seaside.
The average tuition and fees for an out-of-state undergraduate student at CSUMB are $19,098 a year. On average, marine science graduates from CSUMB take out $17,832 in student loans while working on their degree.
