The average amount in student loans that international studies majors at CU - Boulder take out is $18,762. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $491.

The excellent programs at University of Utah helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best international studies schools in the Rocky Mountains Region . Located in the midsize city of Salt Lake City, U of U is a public school with a very large student population.

Out of the 15 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Brigham Young University - Idaho landed the # 3 spot on the list. BYU - I is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the distant town of Rexburg.
