To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Statistics program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for stats majors pursuing a graduate certificate.

Our 2023 rankings named Columbia University in the City of New York the most popular school in the United States for statistics students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the large city of New York, Columbia is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

Of the 17 students majoring in stats at Columbia, 88% are male and 12% are female.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at University of North Texas helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular statistics schools in the United States. Located in the midsize city of Denton, UNT is a public school with a very large student population.

About 47% of the students majoring in stats at the school are women while 53% are male.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at North Dakota State University - Main Campus helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular statistics schools in the United States. Located in the medium-sized city of Fargo, North Dakota State University is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 31% of the stats majors at the school.
