To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Statistics program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Wisconsin - Madison to be the most popular school for statistics students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Great Lakes Region . UW - Madison is a very large public school located in the large city of Madison.

About 50% of the students majoring in stats at the school are women while 50% are male.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular statistics schools in the Great Lakes Region . U-M is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Ann Arbor.

About 42% of the students majoring in stats at the school are women while 58% are male.
