About 58% of the students majoring in applied statistics at the school are women while 42% are male.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Michigan Technological University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular applied statistics schools in the Great Lakes Region . Michigan Tech is a medium-sized public school located in the town of Houghton.

Out of the 7 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, DePaul University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the large city of Chicago, DePaul is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
