To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Library Science program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for library science majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our analysis found San Jose State University to be the most popular school for library science students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. San Jose State is a very large public school located in the city of San Jose.

About 82% of the students majoring in library science at the school are women while 18% are male.

Out of the 70 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, University of North Texas landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the midsize city of Denton, UNT is a public school with a very large student population.
