Our 2023 rankings named Hamline University the best value school in the Plains States Region for legal research students working on their master’s degree. Hamline is a small private not-for-profit school located in the city of Saint Paul.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Nebraska - Lincoln is a great value for legal research students working on their master’s degree. UNL is a very large public school located in the city of Lincoln.

University of Iowa did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for legal research students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #6 on the list. Iowa is a fairly large public school located in the city of Iowa City.
