Our analysis found Ashland University to be the most popular school for history students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the Great Lakes Region . Located in the town of Ashland, Ashland is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.

Of the 57 students majoring in history at Ashland, 53% are male and 47% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular History Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. Located in the large city of Milwaukee, UWM is a public school with a fairly large student population.
