Out of all the majors we analyze each year, history was ranked #23 in the country. In fact 32,731 degrees and certificates were handed out in 2020-2021.

This report analyzed 23 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the History program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found American Public University System to be the most popular school for history students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the Southeast Region . American Military University is a very large private for-profit school located in the town of Charles Town.

About 21% of the students majoring in history at the school are women while 79% are male.
