This report analyzed 53 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for history majors pursuing an online bachelor's degree.

Our analysis found Southern New Hampshire University to be the most popular school for history students who want to pursue an online bachelor’s degree in the United States. SNHU is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Manchester.

About 47% of the students majoring in history at the school are women while 53% are male.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, history majors at SNHU accumulate an average of around $32,105 in student debt.

Lynchburg, VA

Out of the 53 online programs at schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Liberty University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Liberty University is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Lynchburg.

Women make up 39% of the history majors at the school.

University of Maryland Global Campus came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online History Bachelor’s Degree Schools ranking. UMGC is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Adelphi.

About 41% of the students majoring in history at the school are women while 59% are male.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, history graduates from UMGC carry an average student debtload of $27,616.
